Marchesa are easily one of my favorite shows very fashion week. The over the top feminine looks always have me wanting more and Marchesa was actually the name I was going to have for when I had a daughter.

Two kids later and I only managed  Benicio and Bear haha no girls!

This season they were strongly influenced by Japan (specifically Aimée Crocker’s travels there in the 1920s) which was evident in the use of cherry blossoms, pearls and kimono inspired silhouettes.

I cannot fault this collection AT ALL. This was a fabulous mix of opulence, femininity with an incredible eye for detail. The workmanship that went into every outfit was of such high quality you could tell no expense was spared in creating these beautiful pieces.

I could go on and on about it but I think the photos speak for themselves.

Now let me go and cry over the fact I will never be able to afford any of these!

This dress below blew my mind and I think it deserved a picture on its own. Im dying!

And now lets look at my favorite street style looks from the day!
